MEOWTEOR

PRIVACY POLICY

Meowteor · Last updated 5 November 2026 · Version 1.0

IN SHORT

  • Meowteor has no accounts and no servers of our own. Your high score and settings stay on your device.
  • We don’t use any analytics or tracking.
  • The game shows ads from Google AdMob. Google’s software in the game collects some device and usage data to show and measure ads. On iPhone, ads are never personalized and we never ask to track you.
  • Leaderboards run on Apple Game Center or Google Play Games.

1.Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data under the GDPR is Wojciech Kot, who runs a sole proprietorship in Poland (jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza) as the game studio Purrgaming.

Address
Email
support@purrgaming.com

2.Data stored on your device

The game saves your high score, your settings (music, sound, haptics) and a few counters it needs to work — for example, how many games you have played since the last ad, or a score waiting to be sent to the leaderboard. This data stays on your device and never reaches us.

It is deleted when you delete the app. You can also reset your high score in SETTINGS › RESET HI-SCORE.

3.Ads (Google AdMob)

Meowteor is free. It shows ads between games — never during play — and, only if you choose to, a rewarded ad that lets you continue a game. Ads are provided by Google AdMob: by Google Ireland Limited if you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland, and by Google LLC elsewhere.

The Google Mobile Ads software in the game collects and sends to Google:

  • your approximate location, derived from your IP address;
  • device identifiers — on iOS, identifiers tied to the app and its developer, never the advertising identifier (IDFA); on Android, the advertising ID and the app set ID;
  • advertising data, such as which ads were shown and tapped;
  • interactions with the app, such as app launches and taps on ads;
  • diagnostics: crash and performance data.

Google uses this data to show and measure ads, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve its services.

Your consent

In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, the game shows Google’s consent message before the first ad is requested. There, the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Elsewhere, it is our legitimate interest in funding a free game with ads (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Without your consent, Google may show non-personalized or limited ads, which use only the minimum of data — for example, to limit how often an ad is shown and to detect fraud.

You can change your choice at any time in SETTINGS › AD PRIVACY. This option appears where the law requires it.

iPhone

The game never shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt and never uses the advertising identifier (IDFA). Every ad request is marked as non-personalized.

Android

Ads may be personalized if you consent (in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland) or unless you turn off ad personalization in your device settings (elsewhere). You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android privacy settings.

More: Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.

4.Leaderboards (Game Center and Google Play Games)

If you sign in to Game Center (iOS) or Google Play Games (Android), the game sends your scores to that platform’s leaderboard. Apple or Google processes your player name, player ID and scores under its own privacy policy: Apple, Google. Other players can see your player name and score on the leaderboard.

We don’t store this data — the TOP 100 screen loads it from the platform. You manage your Game Center profile in the iOS Settings app, and your Play Games profile in Google Play Games or your Google Account.

5.No analytics, no tracking

We don’t use analytics or tracking tools of our own, and we don’t sell your data. We only see aggregated statistics and crash reports from Apple (App Store Connect) and Google (Play Console). On iPhone, crash reports reach us only if you agreed in iOS settings to share analytics with app developers. These reports don’t identify you.

6.Age range (US state laws)

Where the law requires it (for example, in Texas), the game asks the App Store for your age range through Apple’s Declared Age Range feature. We use it only to meet legal requirements; it stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.

7.Children

Meowteor is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. Ads in the game are limited to content suitable for teens (rated “T” or lower). If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us.

8.When you email us

If you write to support@purrgaming.com, we use your email address and message only to reply to you (legal basis: our legitimate interest in providing support, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep the conversation as long as we need it to help you, and no longer than 2 years after the last message. Our hosting provider (LH.pl, Poland) runs the mailbox for us.

9.This website

purrgaming.com counts visits with GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly statistics service. It doesn’t use cookies, doesn’t store anything on your device and doesn’t collect personal data: we only see totals — pages viewed, where visitors came from, browser, system, screen size and country. Your IP address is used only to work out the country and isn’t stored. We do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in knowing how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). More: GoatCounter’s privacy policy.

The site doesn’t use external fonts. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs — IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type — for security, for a limited time.

10.Transfers outside the EEA

Google and Apple may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. They use safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

11.Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. You can withdraw your consent at any time in SETTINGS › AD PRIVACY; this doesn’t affect processing that took place before.

Because we don’t keep game data on any server, most requests concern Google or Apple — we’ll help you reach them. Write to support@purrgaming.com.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes UODO, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl), or with the authority in your country.

12.Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. We’ll also mention important changes in the app’s update notes.

W SKRÓCIE

  • Meowteor nie ma kont ani naszego serwera. Rekord i ustawienia zostają na Twoim telefonie.
  • Nie używamy analityki ani śledzenia.
  • Gra wyświetla reklamy Google AdMob. Oprogramowanie Google w grze zbiera część danych o urządzeniu i korzystaniu z aplikacji, żeby wyświetlać i mierzyć reklamy.
  • Rankingi działają w Apple Game Center albo Google Play Games.

Adres
E-mail
support@purrgaming.com

2.Dane na Twoim telefonie

Gra zapisuje rekord, ustawienia (muzyka, dźwięk, haptyka) i kilka liczników potrzebnych do działania — na przykład ile partii minęło od ostatniej reklamy albo wynik czekający na wysłanie do rankingu. Te dane zostają na telefonie i nigdy do nas nie trafiają.

Znikają po usunięciu aplikacji. Rekord możesz też wyzerować w SETTINGS › RESET HI-SCORE.

3.Reklamy (Google AdMob)

Reklamy dostarcza Google AdMob: w Europejskim Obszarze Gospodarczym (EOG) i Szwajcarii Google Ireland Limited, w pozostałych krajach Google LLC.

Oprogramowanie reklamowe Google w grze zbiera i przesyła do Google:

  • przybliżoną lokalizację ustaloną na podstawie adresu IP;
  • identyfikatory urządzenia — na iOS identyfikatory związane z aplikacją i jej twórcą, nigdy identyfikator reklamowy (IDFA); na Androidzie identyfikator wyświetlania reklam i identyfikator zestawu aplikacji (app set ID);
  • dane o reklamach, np. które reklamy wyświetlono i dotknięto;
  • interakcje z aplikacją, np. uruchomienia i dotknięcia reklam;
  • dane diagnostyczne: awarie i wydajność.

Google wykorzystuje te dane do wyświetlania i mierzenia reklam, zapobiegania oszustwom i nadużyciom oraz ulepszania swoich usług.

Twoja zgoda

W EOG, Wielkiej Brytanii i Szwajcarii przed pierwszą reklamą gra pokazuje komunikat zgody Google. Podstawą prawną jest tam Twoja zgoda (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. a RODO). W pozostałych krajach — nasz prawnie uzasadniony interes, czyli finansowanie darmowej gry z reklam (art. 6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO).

4.Rankingi (Game Center i Google Play Games)

Jeśli logujesz się do Game Center (iOS) albo Google Play Games (Android), gra wysyła Twoje wyniki do rankingu tej platformy. Nazwę gracza, identyfikator gracza i wyniki przetwarza Apple albo Google zgodnie ze swoją polityką prywatności: Apple, Google. Inni gracze widzą w rankingu Twoją nazwę gracza i wynik.

Nie przechowujemy tych danych — ekran TOP 100 pobiera je z platformy. Profilem Game Center zarządzasz w aplikacji Ustawienia na iPhonie, a profilem Play Games — w Google Play Games albo na koncie Google.

5.Bez analityki i śledzenia

6 ust. 1 lit. f RODO). Więcej: polityka prywatności GoatCounter (po angielsku).

Strona nie używa zewnętrznych czcionek. Dostawca hostingu przechowuje standardowe logi serwera — adres IP, datę i godzinę, adres strony i typ przeglądarki — w celach bezpieczeństwa i przez ograniczony czas.

10.Przekazywanie danych poza EOG

Google i Apple mogą przetwarzać dane poza EOG, w tym w Stanach Zjednoczonych. Stosują zabezpieczenia wymagane przez RODO, takie jak EU–US Data Privacy Framework i standardowe klauzule umowne.

11.Twoje prawa

Możesz też wnieść skargę do Prezesa Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych (ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa, uodo.gov.pl) albo do organu nadzorczego w swoim kraju.

12.Zmiany polityki

Gdy zmienimy politykę, zaktualizujemy tę stronę i datę na górze. O istotnych zmianach napiszemy też w opisie aktualizacji aplikacji.
